boris started his dj/producer career in 1992. his early works, funky and deep filter disko house tracks gained him increasing attention culminating in his remix of moloko’s „sing it back“, which became a major club smasher, and scoring right another one with his track „never enough“ featuring lady róisín murphy on vocals. he consistently pushed his boundaries, with an amazing floor sensibility and his heart & soul attitude.
boris is now a sought out remixer, having overhauled titles from daft punk, boys noize, röyksopp, goose, groove armada and zoot woman.
he ended 2009 in fine form, releasing one of last year’s most acclaimed dance tracks – „bangkok“ – on erol alkan’s phantasy imprint. it’s just one huge-huge electro banger with boris’ distinctive basslines, distortion and that pushed-down funk. his rework of „sweet light“ by boys noize will be released shortly.
