LIGHT YOUR ANCHOR is a Melodic Hardcore Band out of Hamburg found around the end of 2011. It are basically the SXE members of ‚Between Love And Madness‘ starting a new project without making any compromises in sound and lyrics. Approaching their music as a tribute to the oldschool melodic stuff they grew up with, like Satanic Surfers, Belvedere, Have Heart etc., they created an unreversible sound.
After the Peter Pan Syndrome EP, their debut album ‚Hopesick’ and numerous van rides throughout Europe and the UK (e.g. w/ No Bragging Rights, To The Wind, etc.), the Hamburg five-piece has continuously made its way up to the top of Europe’s overcrowded Melodic Hardcore scene.
