CONNÆKT brings Detroit and Tresor legend DJ T-1000 aka Alan Oldham and the Taiwanese label boss of Ego Riot Berlin, BB Deng, to WERK Vienna!

With the new CONNÆKT event series, the makers of TRENDWÆNDE are creating spaces for sophisticated musical experiences far away from the mainstream and bringing pioneers of electronic music together with new, highly talented artists.

In collaboration with the Love At First Sight female DJ collective, we CONNÆKT Detroit, Industrial and Hypnotic Techno with faster styles like Modular Techno and Hard Techno on two floors!

About the headliners:
DJ T-1000 aka Alan Oldham, techno artist of the first hour, member of Underground Resistance, and described by Muzik Magazine UK as ‘Detroit’s Renaissance Man’, is a resident of the Berlin clubs Tresor and Suicide Circus and has released on Tresor Records, BPitch Control, Rekids and his own label Pure Sonik, among others.
As a renowned comic artist, Alan has created layouts for countless media and record labels and has exhibited in galleries in L.A., Berlin and Vienna.

BB Deng from Taiwan is one of China’s leading DJs for electronic music. She opened the Beijing club ‘The Boat’ and organised the first Chinese festival for electronic music ‘INTRO’. In addition to releases on KUUKOU and Sound of Berlin, among others, she plays at festivals such as Fusion, Burning Man or Rave The Planet and in clubs such as Tresor, KitKat Club or Ritter Butzke. In 2022 she founded the label Ego Riot.

Local support comes from TRENDWÆNDE resident Kay Barton together with Adrialin, Kreta and Pauna from Love At First Sight.
