About Trujillo
Trujillo is a Berlin-based Venezuelan DJ, selector and music producer. He is perhaps best known for unearthing infectious house, soul and boogie gems from the Spanish-speaking world, as showcased in his critically acclaimed compilation Ritmo Fantasía: Balearic Spanish Synth – Pop, Boogie and House (1982 – 1992) (Soundway Records, 2021). Highly versatile and deeply knowledgable about music, Trujillo is one of the most interesting DJs around, playing regularly across Europe and in the Americas. He is also a long-term collaborator of Claas Brieler from Jazzanova, with whom he both runs the music label True Class and forms an eponymous DJ duo.
About the resident DJs
Jonny Nemetz has for many years been at the forefront of Vienna’s dance music scene. Although a house head through and through (he is originally a member of the Deephousemafia collective), Jonny is also an expert in rare grooves from all over the world and co-founder of the music label Edition Hawara, which specializes in reissuing forgotten Austrian music from the 1980s.
Fabio Wolkenstein is an avid collector of music and co-founder, with Jonny Nemetz, of the Vienna-based reissue label Edition Hawara. Musically, Fabio is naturally drawn to dubby, analogue music that sounds best with lights turned off.
