Der ursprünglich aus London stammende Singer-Songwriter MARK PETERS lebt mittlerweile in Wien, wo er 2017 auch sein Debüt Album Spirits aufnahm und veröffentlichtete. In Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Musikern entstand dabei eine Platte die seine Fähigkeiten als Finger-Style Gitarristen sowie seine tiefempfundene Stimme hervorbringen. Mit dieser Stimme und seinem Gitarrenspiel verschmilzt er spielend Einflüsse von Folk über Jazz und Funk bis Blues und Country. Diese Zusammenarbeit war es dann auch die zur Formierung von The Dark Band führte mit denen er nun im Jänner 2019 sein nächstes Album präsentieren wird bevor sie gemeinsam auf eine Europa Tournee aufbrechen werden.

STUART NEVILLE is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in Vienna, Austria.
A whisky-smoked baritone voice and a down-tuned dreadnought guitar. An intimate, engaging and visceral live-performer. Beautifully crafted songwriting that gains complexity through it’s honest emotion and dynamism, fuelled by the raw indie and grunge of his youth and welded together with the stories and peoples of his life. Stuart officially released his debut solo EP ‚BRIGHT-EYED YOUNG THINGS‘ in March 2016 alongside MIKE STARK and after a brief hiatus an eagerly awaited new LP is expected to be officially released in mid 2019.
Stuart is also a co-founder of the VIENNA SONGWRITING CIRCLE: a community group for writers and co-founder of SCHOTTENFEST, an annual Scottish, Irish, Austrian cultural music festival.
