We’re Finn and Josch

We’re creative partners, musicians, and friends. Zimmer90 is not just a band, but rather an art project where all our interests and inspirations unite to build something beautiful. It is a special place for us. We see it as an overall concept because our interests go beyond just making music. We are passionate about music, but also about art, design, and architecture. Zimmer90 is shaped by our special connection, from which the music grows, and we want to create a free space where everyone can express themselves individually.

We create our music together, and in the process, everyone brings their unique personality and skills. While Finn is more sensitive, mindful, and structured, Josch is a restless creative force who shakes things up when we feel stuck. Our unique traits complement each other perfectly, and we are constantly learning to work together and lift each other up. We compose and write all our music ourselves, including a lot of the production.

Our Sound

What makes our music special is the blend of electronic music with acoustic sounds. When we perform live, our sound differs significantly from the recorded versions of our songs. We like to think of it as a journey that we embark on together with our audience. We start with something slow and let ourselves float through the concert, until everything becomes blurry. Most of the time, we end up in an electronic disco party, where everyone dances, and the stage fades into the background.

• Our very first headline tour with 28 sold-out shows in 2023.
• After playing 25 live gigs in 2022, we played even more shows in 2023: 28 headline shows and 16 festival gigs. Some of these festivals had been on our bucket list forever:

• Our songs Summer Rain (#7) and What Love Is (#1) went viral on Instagram.
